Job Description
As a Backend Engineer at MIA, you will be responsible for building server-side logic, designing robust APIs, and ensuring smooth communication between client and server components. You will work on backend frameworks such as Node.js, Django, Spring Boot, and Express.js while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to create secure and high-performance applications.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications
- Implement backend business logic using Express.js, Spring Boot, Django, or Node.js
- Manage data flow and integration between front-end and databases
- Optimize code for scalability, performance, and reliability
- Ensure application security and data protection best practices
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for system design and integration
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
Required Skills
- Strong in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, or Java
- Hands-on with Express.js, Node.js, Django, or Spring Boot
- Experience in API development, database design (MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL)
- Familiarity with Git, RESTful architecture, and CI/CD tools
- Knowledge of AWS/Azure/GCP (preferred)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Optional Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of message queues and microservices
- Experience in performance tuning and caching mechanisms
