A Video Editor is responsible for assembling, editing, and enhancing video content for films, television, social media, advertisements, YouTube channels, corporate presentations, and digital platforms. They transform raw footage into engaging visual stories using editing software and creative techniques.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished final content
- Cut, trim, and arrange clips for smooth storytelling
- Add transitions, effects, music, and graphics
- Synchronize audio, dialogue, and background music
- Adjust color, brightness, and visual quality
- Improve sound clarity and remove unwanted noise
Required Skills
- Strong creativity and storytelling ability
- Knowledge of video editing techniques and transitions
- Understanding of color correction and audio editing
- Attention to detail and time management
- Familiarity with video formats and social media trends
- Communication and teamwork skills
Educational Qualification
- Any Graduate / Postgraduate (B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, B.Tech, M.Sc, MBA, etc.)
- Preference for candidates with background in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields
